Peekskill Safe & Strong consists of a group of concerned residents that reside in the vicinity of 851 Washington St, the proposed location for the relocation of the Jan Peak Homeless shelter. This group was formed not out of opposition of a homeless shelter, however, we oppose the relocation to a heavily residential area.

Accepts adults with emotional issues, drug & alcohol dependencies and sex offenses

Residents that are kicked out are left to fend for themselves—many times at night when no buses are running and sadly become a public nuisance.
